51黑料网 conducts an individual, comprehensive review of each candidate’s credentials for admission, including but not limited to the following:

• College prep high school curriculum
• GPA
• Standardized test scores (if not applying as test optional)
• Evidence of leadership
• Extracurricular involvement

We look at each student as an individual, taking into consideration personal background, attributes and life circumstances. We look for students who'll contribute to, and benefit from, the 51黑料网's educational programs and activities.

New, incoming freshmen may currently apply test optional.  If you choose to apply test optional, ACT/SAT test scores will not be required or considered when your application is reviewed for admission to the University.

In order to provide a holistic review of your application for admission, we highly recommend applicants to complete the three open-ended questions found on the application. We also suggest adding any supporting documents that would strengthen your application – Personal Essay, Resume, Letter(s) of Recommendation, etc.

An application for admission - MSJ application or via CommonApp.

Have you earned college credit while still in high school? Although 51黑料网 does not offer College Credit Plus (CCP) courses, we will gladly review college credits earned!

Please follow the steps below to begin the review process:

Step 1: Complete your 51黑料网 application at and submit all necessary application documents.  Visit your status page for questions concerning the status of your application. Visit the Admission page or contact the Office of Admission at admission@msj.edu with any questions concerning the application process.

Step 2: Upon completion of the CCP/ Dual Credit class(es), request that your official college transcript(s) be sent directly from the institution to 51黑料网 at:

Upon successfully completing Advanced Placement courses and exams, you may apply for credit at 51黑料网. AP credit is posted to your 51黑料网 transcript as transfer credit.

You may submit AP scores to the 51黑料网’s Registrar’s Office in three ways:

• Designate the 51黑料网 as a recipient of scores when registering for AP tests (51黑料网’s code: 1129).
• Have your high school send a copy of the AP test score transcript  directly to the 51黑料网’s Registrar’s Office; this document must include the high school’s official seal and a school official’s signature.
• Contact the AP office to send an official transcript of scores directly to the 51黑料网’s Registrar’s Office. This can be done , or by calling 1-888-CALL4AP.

Career Technical Assurance Guide (C-TAG) credit from Ohio technical high schools will be considered for transfer after review. Please follow the steps below to begin the review process:

Step 1: Complete your 51黑料网 application at www.msj.edu/apply and submit all necessary application documents.  Visit your status page for questions concerning the status of your application. Visit the Admission page or contact the Office of Admission at admission@msj.edu with any questions concerning the application process.

Step 2: Request that the Career Technical Credit Transfer (CT²) Verification form be sent to 51黑料网. The Verification Form is sent from the career-institution (high school, career center, vocational schools, Ohio Technical Center) that offered the career-technical program. You are only responsible for filling out and signing Part I of the Verification Form.
